Jubilee Year 2025 – Pilgrimage Churches

Jubilee Year 2025: Pilgrimages and the Plenary Indulgence

His Excellency Bishop Daniel Miehm has issued a Jubilee Year Indulgence Decree for the Diocese of Peterborough (you can read the full Decree here or at the bottom of this page). The Decree states that four churches throughout the diocese may be visited by the faithful to fulfill the requirements for the indulgence: St. Michael the Archangel in Cobourg; St. Mary’s in Lindsay; St. Patrick’s in Kearney; and the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains in Peterborough.*

When you visit one of the pilgrimage churches, you can pick up a Jubilee Year passport and sticker to commemorate your pilgrimage. You can also download a copy of the Jubilee Passport here. (When printing the passport, choose the “Print on Both Sides” option and click on the “Flip on the short edge” tab.)
